If your seller hasn't resolved a problem with your order, here's how to open a dispute.

Step 1: Contact Your Seller First

Before opening a dispute, message your seller in Live Chat and give them the opportunity to resolve it.

Step 2: Wait for the Guaranteed Delivery Time to Pass

The Open Dispute button on your order page only becomes clickable once your order's Guaranteed Delivery Time countdown reaches 00:00.

Step 3: Click Open Dispute

A "Why Are You Disputing This Order?" window will appear.

Step 4: Select a Reason and Add Details

Choose the option that best describes your issue:

  • Guaranteed delivery time is overdue

  • Seller claims goods were delivered, but the order was not received

  • Cannot claim purchase due to in-game issues

  • Order is not as described

  • Seller is unresponsive

  • I have another issue

Add any additional context in the Share Details box.

Step 5: Submit Your Dispute

Click Dispute Order to submit. Your order status will change to Dispute Raised.

Step 6: Share Evidence in Live Chat

Send any supporting evidence — screenshots are the most helpful — in your order's Live Chat so the A4G team can review it. Keep all communication there so your case stays on record. See What Evidence Should I Provide?

Important: You can open a dispute at any point during the 14-Day Buyer Protection Period, once your Guaranteed Delivery Time has passed. Reports made after the 14-day period may still be reviewed, but outcomes aren't guaranteed. See What Happens After the 14-Day Protection Period?
